i am buying domain first time, what are the keys should i use and from where can i find best deal?

godaddy hosting is good because it is usally $1.99 with a two month 3.99 test drive for hosting plans. This is a very good springboard for website development. It takes about 24 hours for propagation, and about 24 more for install and application upgrade & setup. Then your email and site are ready to customize!

Be ready to call customer service if database problems or whatever. Be sure you are using proper contact information and get the privacy option to keep the spam to a minimum.

I do not like GoDaddy, because they only accept credit card payments.

Even via the paypal option, they will only accept paypal accounts which have been verified with a credit card.

I do not know why they can not accept other forms of paypal payments.

For me, I do not have a credit card, and therefore their services are not an option for me.

I do have a number of domain names with them, but I plan on transferring them all as soon as the 60 days is up.

GoDaddy are OK. Stay well away from any of the TuCows affiliates. They are pretty dodgy.

Make sure you don't accidentaly buy hosting at the same time. Yuo don't want your domain account tied to your hosting account because you might end up with the wrong type of hosting account and changing can be expensive.

If you are an actual owner of the domain name there - you are ok and you can be tied with no problem as long as you need.
