anywhere from a few weeks to several years.

It depends on what you do with the domain.

It's even possible that it might never become Google worthy.

I suppose that is up to you. If you work hard on that you might get sucess in several month.

Generally Google prefers aged domains but it is just one of the criteria. If a lot of negative / unethical things are related to quite an old domain, then also it will have no credibility.

What do you consider google worth? Your value of your domain depends on what the next guy is willing to pay for it. If you mean indexing by google that could happen quickly depending on your website. If you are talking about serps rating ( how far up the ladder you are) then that depends on the quality of seo, content of site and plenty of backlinks.

It depend on how you work on the domain name/site to be worth in Google.

Having an older trusted domain is the most beneficial, if its new you just have to keep plodding away with the content and links. Once the site has been up for 6 months or so its possible to start getting good organic listings.

If you do nothing with your domain name you will never have good results in google.
