Just a note can a customer keep this domain name for life and not pay anything? as your site says for 2 yrs, but in reality couldn't i just get another domain name free off you for a further 2 yrs and something else i noticed is when ordering it says: Repatriate the domain to OVH without changing the owner (with or without hosting).

That is against general domain registrar rules isn't it, the persons name has to be on the domain name whois. The only other choice is to buy hosting from you in the order form.

Ok this isnt my site I dont do domain registrations I just saw the offer and thought it may interest some folk.

I did put "as far as I can see there are no catches" but their may be 1 or 2.

I have registered a domain have it all working without issues and I would imagine after the initial 2 years you can transfer it just as you can with any domain.

the catch is you can only get 1 a day =D

If they give the domain names for free they can take them away easily. Just do not plan something huge and serious with such domain names.

Im just selling em on ebay and transfering them to the winners godaddy account. They pay the fee
