Azeem. Why don't you join an affiliate network and sell magic products on that page. Make sections - card magic, cigarette magic, children's magic, professional magic, magic books, etc.

I could even get a just-as-good domain for £2.99 +vat, since I target UK users and a .co.uk domain is that particular price! After making 1 to 3 sales of magic products via that page, I'd have recovered the expense for a whole year. And in a year, properly managed, your page can make dozens, maybe 100s of magic product sales.

But I wouldn't bother - every similar name I've tried leads to a landing page where the owner has stopped paying for the domain and generally given up on it - NOT a booming market, perhaps, at this time.

You're trying to peddle it on the wrong site - this forum is too clued up. Try a magic forum - you'll get some takers. But DON'T start with that mad price you gave. Go lower - start at 50 bucks and you may get a sale for 20.

Some of your concepts are out dated & worthless ! U need to improve your knowledge by different IT and Domainers Forums.

Even if that were true, the reality is you are incapable of making money from this domain other than by trying to sell it (as proved by dropping 75% of your original asking price). If you could make money from it, you'd keep it. So you are, as you even admitted, trying to find a fool who will buy something that isn't worth the money they're paying.

I'm only trying to help you. You COULD do something useful with it, like turn it into an affiliate magic shop. As it stands it has no value whatsoever other than 10 dollars for the domain. I looked up youthmagic.com, childrenmagic.com and I'm sure any similar name you find will show the same - parking pages, no site, nothing worthwhile.

If you could sell me a name like shopping.com - hell I'd pay you £5,000 for it! But you can't. Your selling justanotherrandomname.com

when i come back (i don't have time now) I'll show you 10 names (i'll find 10 out of the blue) ALL as good as youngmagic.com in terms of what they mean, and which are available at £8.99 each.

As for the traffic you mention - there are 1000s of links on FORUMS leading to your site - but no links on google OF your site - I shall investigate further, when i get back, whether this is really bad, or in fact okay... it depends where all those links come from and what's on those pages...

Nope, you need to look more at the reality of it, just because some idiot is willing to pay some stupid figure or other doesn't mean it's actually worth that amount.

It's a bit like bidding on the "futures" market or "sub-prime lending" and we all know where that has got us!
