TV sites are seem to grow in popularity. Though accorging to analysts only time will tell if companies pony up the money to reserve their .tv domains. What is your opinion about that?

I think that they are expensive and quite good for TV companies budgets. And they are not very popular.

Apart from the fact that they are actually NOTHING to do with tv companies anyway.
.tv is actually the TLD for the Tuvalu islands.

I have a .tv domain. It was fairly cheap and so far no issues.

Dunno about that!
In 2000 the Tuvalu government got;
a lease worth ~$50 million over 12 years paid at $1 million dollars per quarter and a 20% stake in the TLD management company dotTV (Verisign own the rest) http://archive.salon.com/tech/view/2..._tv/index.html

I relly think the .sex idea should be done would be much easier.
So porn sites are forced to have .sex domains and if they dont they are illegal and are taken down.
the ideas was said a while ago.

Yeh I hate when I do that - I type something, then rephrase it part way through but forget to delete some of it, hence it makes no sense.
I was saying either:
I thought it was .xxx, not .sex or
I think it was probably .xxx, not .sex
Meh.

I think .tv domains are a good investment but they seem to be pricey, at least for the premium domains. And lets not forget some of the fee's for renewing a premium .tv domain can cost $5,000...
