The domain name is good in my opinion but I'm not sure on the forum about cheat codes.

Usually, people look for cheat codes, not discussing cheat codes

so you dont think this domain name will go along with forums?

I also have cheatcodefusion.com

there are so many websites with cheat codes and database but very few about cheatcodes and discussion.

in the forums i can have parts that contain cheatcodes too. its combination of cheatcodes, hints, FAQs, talk, codes trading, e.t.c .

what do you guys think?

should i move this topic to brainstorming? or can someone move it for me please.

thnks

If you have a good niche and topics to talk about, my advise is to carry on

You can also consider to make one of the domain as a top cheat codes sites thing..

The cheat code discussion idea is unique and you could probably get most of the market share before anybody else caught on to the idea. But the question is whether or not there's any demand for it. Maybe a "cheat code hunter" forum or other variation on the idea would have a bigger audience.

Definitely consider the demographic and the need. You're talking about a user-generated content site, but are you targeting users who would be inclined to generate the content? Is your average 16yo fanboy going to find a code and the take the time to register on your forum, confirm his registration, and post the code... or is he going to just turn his computer chair around and go back to his Xbox?

- I think it's very difficult to have an important numbers of subscribers.
- subscribers is very important to forum,
- try to ask you ezine or newsletter readers , they can help you more.

I personally don't think the idea of a cheat code forum would be very successful. Like Rob said, your target audience is not likely to register and discuss cheats - they just want to find them and print them out most of the time. So I think a content site with cheat codes, faqs, etc is a much better path to take.
