What are people’s view about Dot TK domain names?

As you can register them for free how do people feel about them? Do you visit .tk domain names?

.tk used to be good, but it's now really a pretty ****ty service. the traffic check is never up, the ads are forced, it's like $50 a year for the paid domains, and they added splash pages. if the owner of the site doesn't care about their site enough to find a better (free or paid) service, they don't deserve the traffic.

It's redirection more than a domain ,and BTW it sucks.

I find generally people use .tk to redirect there webpages on a free hosting service so they have a more attractive domain name, for example instead of

http://www.prohosting.com/tromso

it would be

http://www.tromso.tk

.tk added a lot of ads, splashscreen etc so if you have extra $10 I would rather go get a .com
