Hi,

I will try not too, As i have seen many cases where the Tm owner will sure on the domain! Like i know of Ipod suing alot of people right now for using the word "ipod"

So I am trying to keep away from using TM names and would appeal to other to do the same.

I was actually wondering about this when it comes to the Super Bowl. Super Bowl is actually a trademark of the NFL. I remember reading a news article about a radio station being sued because they gave away super bowl tickets on the air(and this is prohibited as it shows on the back of the tickets).

At the same time though, there are a number of web sites that have the term super bowl in their name. I was considering registering one of these, but after I did that research I decided against it.

Personally, I almost went through this mess without ever meaning to. About a year ago I got a email saying this guy found my website and it was against his trade mark. It turns out I registered and started my website a full two years before the trademark existed, but I decided to shut it down and change the name after not wanting to deal with the lawyer mess. On a side note, his website has a forum as well (which isn't all that active), so that's my #1 is to have more activity than his lol.

I probably wouldn't go for it, but there's plenty of sites out there with trademarks in their name, especially celebrity names when their site is about entirely different thing. These eople are looking for traffic when they use trademarks in their domain name.
