I think in the near future aol could drop because really....who really likes that isp anyway. They finally added a popup blocker and virus protection after like what...5 years, maybe even more. I dont think anyone in the future will have 56k net. I bet the quality of cable net will probably be the quality of 56k net in the future seeing as games are getting more graphics heavy, that calls for better internet connections and also who knows, in the future everysite will be graphics heavy with mind blowing effects.

Not that it's bad. It's just it seems like there are always problems with it, and it is overpopulated. They have introduced a new AOL For Broadband, which is pretty good. I am currently running that, and I haven't had many problems. AOL still needs to work on there customer service, as they really are a little slow. :beat:

Well, I'm sure Hotmail will be collapsing soon enough, so that domain will be going up.

Not too sure about that - they have a HUGE member base still and Im sure enough of them will stay with hotmail for them to remain profitable.

Any huge website is obviously going to renew. It is obvious. They probably have a team of staff that do it, just in case the last one didn't. So they check everytime to make sure it is renewed.

No, I mean they'll eventually collapse, and thus they'll have no insentive to renew their domain.

Not unless they sell before they drop. Why would they collapse if the domain is worth a fortune? Unless you mean get rid of it while it's still hot...

No. I mean that once google ultimate takes gmail public, and google ups the ante all the more, hotmail will still be space concious and loose out. And with more sites requiring pay email addresses, they lose out even more.
