There are now over 40 million .coms registered! I honestly thought it would be more than this?!?

40 million .com is still quite much if you ask me ..
and then we got the .org, .net , .info etc aswell...

would be cool to make a system to see exact how many .com, .net, .org , .info there where registrered, like a counter and it updates all the time ..
and maybe a list of "last registred .com" - "last registred .net" etc etc ...
Quess that counter would be spinning :P hehe

40,000,000 .com's is a lot, when you compare .net, .org, etc. There are a lot of domains overal period.

hmmm I know what your saying but 40,000,000 isnt that many when you consider how many people are out there developing sites every day.

I wonder how many .com domains there will be sold on five years from now ..
Its more common to by a domain for the regular man today and it was for 5 years agoo .. will be interesting to see.
