What are your opinions on domain names that replace letters with numbers for example w3bsit3.com? In my opinion it is pretty pointless as no one will remember the combination of letters and numbers - what do you think?

I like domain names in letters and not numbers...
but a domain name like this www.rockguide06.com would work fine .
but if it was www.r0ckguid306.com it would just be stupid :P

Generally, its stupid. But, if its a website like pwn3d.com, then it makes complete sense.

I'm not a huge fan of numbers in place of letters in a domain name. I think they create to much chaos for the user typing the name in. Of course it all depends where the number is, but still, I like the good old fashioned letters.

But it can be professional in certain contexts. For example, if you sell pwn3d pictures, than anything but pwn3d.com or pwn3dpictures.com would be unprofessional.
