I don't think it really works differently, but the arrangement of the way the search results comes up might be slightly different. I think they focus mainly on what your ask for, and they combine the keywords to fit your best needs. Unlike other Search Engines, where you type in a word and it shows up all links with that word integrated within.

I looked it up. They bought out Intermix Media. They own Myspace and group of about 30 sites.
