I tried 'Initiate Account Change' but at the end of the 2 steps after entering all the new registrant information and email, it prevented me from changing all the information and transferring by saying:

Initiate Account Change
Selected items could not be processed.

Requested action is not allowed for this TLD (domain extension): xxx.asia

What is wrong? Do I have to wait a certain period before I can transfer it to another owner?

How long have you had the domain?
A domain has to be at a registrar for at least 60 days before it can be transferred.

Just 2 days. You mean I can only transfer it after 60 days of initial registration? Isn't it that one cannot transfer it 60 days after the change of registrant information? Now even 60 days after registration?

The domain itself has to be at the registrar for at least 60 days regardless of
whether the info has been changed. How long has it been there?

Yeah, I just had the same situation myself.

I had to call the guys at GoDaddy to help me out with trying to get mine up, that I had to wait a little over 60 days for.

Does anyone know why they impose that rule, that you have to wait this long?

I think you can push it to another Godaddy account though, right?

Yes! External transfers from one host to another are not allowed for 60 days. Internal transfers within the same host are allowed. I registered my asia domains with DomainMonster and I can develop, park or do anything to my domains but transfer them to other host for remaining of the 60 days.

So basically, since you can't transfer it but are trying to sell it, have you buyer make a godaddy acocunt and push it to that. That way he was charge of the name and can transfer it himself in 60 days.
