i think this site (theofftopic.com) , that i just bought may have been a warez site at one point.... i found a link to my site on another forum pre launch and for a file that never existed.

Google for your domain name and search through the results is about the only way. You can also keep an eye on your logs. Check to see what people are requesting that is coming up 404, and it may give you a clue as to what was on the site previously.

yea ive found a few links... also the whois info gives me a name that is NOT mine.....

that was kind of what threw me off..... i had done the google search too.... it says its regged to someone in TX, but im in iowa.

I would recommend avoid buy used domain names. They might have black SEO history etc....
