Need to know the differences between a proxy account and proxy server. HqHost.net provides a proxy account but I wanna know the technical differences.

I think you should ask them...

They sound the same to me.

Proxy account: you will be had a private IP for your account. (I think you know how to use it)
Proxy server: you get your own server and you can use your server like a private IP (use SSH Access feature), the upper will be cheaper.
