This is another extension that is just not needed, they should stick with the ccTLDs.

Edit: got the answer, it still will go to auction, registry will go live on 12th march.

It might be interesting for global companies which have market in asia. I think that we need some time to see how popular can it be.

I doubt many of us in the USA or Europe will show much interest, I do't see why people would unless they were making a website about something asian. Is anyone here going to buy one and what for?
