Ha! Sounds like GrampaWebmaster might be interested! Sorry only joking. I'm sure it'll probably be worth something if you put it up for auction

Sorry that's a private joke of mine going back several months. Older members here might remember it.

I'm not sure about it's worth. It seems like a fairly unique domain, so I would expect you could get a good price for it if you marketed it in the right areas (where you'd attract people from the stationary/printer industry). I'm not good at valuing domains though - I'm sure someone will be along shortly who is

I would say the domain is worth average market price (around $4-8), since there is no brand identity with it. I would say it is best used as either a tattooist based site or maybe a small social network for artists. Either way without a brand behind it I doubt the domain would sell for more than $20.

(Note to self, change keyboard configuration to UK, I have no sterling sign so have estimated dollar value (about 2:1))

Well, you can either:

A: Hold on to it and/or build a site around it.
or
B: Sell it (as given in the info above)

Not much else you can do with a domain name (that I am aware of).

What was the original reason you registered / purchased the domain for?

James has the basics. My suggestion would if you are choosing A, to find out if anyone in the ink world, ie retail product (tatoo artists, etc.), manufacturing, or end user areas would be interested in purchasing it for branding for their product or company.

If you're choosing B, set up a quick hosting site, add some domain parking advertising, and then put it up for auction. Set your buy price at 5 to 6 bags, and lower it to 3 bags if it's a BIN price.

Definition of a bag... $1.00 is 1 bag which is the cost to buy build or make the widget, $5.00 is 5 bags. It's a Motley Fool stock reference. If your domain cost 10 bucks, then an auction price of 100.00 is 10 bags. For the % challenged. ;-)

This name is worth reg fee as far as resale value is concerned, but get you some money if you could interest an end user.

You can develop a printer ink selling website for this name or maybe a site selling portraits of gods in ink.

Go around to your local tattoo parlors and see if they are interested in buying. Even if its a cheap price, maybe you can get some advertising (for your other sites if any) on the tattoo joint site to help promote you.
