Hello all. I am in the process of building up a pool of domain names - all variants of the main domain name I use for my website. What I haven't yet got is the .mobi. Is it worth getting?

Hi , it's true .mobi is made for mobil internet, to me it's useful where I see that the new iphone technologies " blackberries" ..etc are very useful and helps in increasing the sales for your business.
Me, I bought a .mobi christmas kit all included at elb.com if it would be useful for you .

If you can afford it, definitely get a .mobi domain. You may think of something you couldn't imagine right now.

like neocarlos said, if you can afford, then get it otherwise it is not terribly important to poeple when .com .net and .org version are already taken unless it is a generic very short name.

Is the web interface very different for .mobi? And is there any CMS or eCommerce tools specific for .mobi?

.mobi domains will grow. I would defiantly get them.
