I don't know if i am alone in this, but i have a feeling that some other people may have had the same problem i have had with godaddy.
I live in Nigeria and have done all of my things from there as i am currently holidaying there.it all started way back in 2003 when i first journeyed into domain registrations.i bought a prepaid debit card from an online reseller and registered an account with godaddy.i then registered a name and was billed, but 2 day later i got an email that my order was cancelled and my money refunded.their reason was that my card was suspected of fraud and their reason was that my IP was logged outside of the US where i had my billing address.
i had to send them a mail that the card i was usibg was actually a prepaid debit card that i had bought, and after days of coomunication,my order was not re-instated.Needless to say,i promply used the same card to register all my names at yahoo domains at the time.
Late last month,i needed some proxies and i had a good service at digitalpoint forums.i had the chance of owning 3 .info domains that was offered as bonus,i promptly used my paypal to regg a name at godaddy so that i can get an account and claim my 3 .info names.and just like before,i created the account and regged the name only to receive a mail that my order was again cancelled.even with my paypal account, godaddy again rejected my business with them.
I just want o know if this is perculiar to me or somebody here has had the same nasty treatment from them.
i welcome all your comments,thanks.
