I have a container that is for placing orders. The third line has the #3 along with the submit button image. I would like to have the #3 be vertically in line with the image that is to say I want the #3 to move up a few pixels. Right now it sits below the image. You'll never get the 3 to line up exactly in all cases, Kevin. It's not a bad thought, but plain text is resizeable and as a result, you're going to have cases where the 3 is higher or lower than you want it.

If it's that important to you to have it that way, the only sure thing is a graphic #3...but that's not the best from a usability point of view.

For a plain text #3, add this:

<input type="image" style="margin: 0.25em 0 0 0;" ...

Adjust the margin as appropriate for your image and you should be okay...not great, but okay.

You are right it is acceptable, I just thought there might be a quick fix. I just got it to validate so I won't screw with it. Thanks for the help!
