Ok, so I want to use the same styles for multiple pages so I have attached a style sheet to the documents. The problem is that on these pages I want to have the layers be in different positions. Is there any way I can attach a css stylesheet without it changing when I make changes to the page? I would like to "lock" the css and then have things like position be defined only in each respective page.

Please let me know what you think
Thanks

Not sure how to do it in Dreamweaver, but all you'd need to do is specify the page-specific styles in the head of the page - they will then override the styles of the linked stylesheet.

Or, you can put all your basic CSS, that common to ALL pages, into 1 CSS file and link to it, then use @import any page-specific stylesheets on pages where your layout differs.
