Kelly I think it's just the way they're showing on the blue background. I don't think it's anything in the code. If you temporarily make the background-color on the outer div white you'll see the image is there just fine. It just gets lost on the blue bakground and appear smooshed.

You proabably just need to rework the image a little. I'm guessing it's a transparent gif. Instead you might just try giving it the same blue background that the image will be on top of. Having the color in the image itself might get rid rid of the smooshed look.

It might be a validation issue, too. There are some pretty heavy-duty errors in the code.

I doubt it is, but cleaning it up can't hurt anything.

Yep cleaning up the code is always a good idea. I don't think it's the issue with the image, but still good to try to fix up those errors.

You can actually learn a lot just by running your pages through a validator. Each time you do I bet you make less errors on the next site.

Thank you VAN! I appreciate it! Hey

Hey yall,

I have used b2 and greymatter in the past for my blogging program, but I hate them all! Spam is out of control and they have serious validation issues. I was hoping someone knew of a script that allows my visitors to leave comments on my blog entries? I want a script written in validated code. PLEASE HELP!

From what I've seen of it, WordPress is good that way. It does come with a captcha tool to prevent blog spamming as well.

Adam's right WordPress has a way to set it up so you need to approve comments. I've been getting a lot of comment spam recently, but none has made it through. I think there are also some plugins available that add more prevention.
