I am in charge of my school's website and I encountered a problem with my css/javascript dropdown menus (on the upper right). In Internet Explorer browsing the list lags horribly -- however in firefox or safari it works fine. I'm suspecting that the problem may lie within my css dropdown code (http://www.intellectualincognito.com/css.css). Has anyone else encountered this problem?
This doesnt really solve your problem but may give you some more idea's on what it would be. I notced when you first get to the page it does the lagging thing a tiny bit then if you refesh the page you can see it considerably. Im using Avant which is just a tabbed IE. I would say try preloading your images.
