Hi All,

Can someone pls explain something to me if possible. I have just developed a small tester site that is table-less, when viewed in IE it works fine, (it was designed in Dreamweaver and tested with IE) however when i tested it in Firefox it had a whole div missing.

Thw page is basically a background a Header div - A Menu Div and then Main Content Div. I'm not sure why the whole menu has dissapered..?

Someone (a good programmer that I spoke to) has told me that Firefox is showing the page correctly, which means that have done something wrong in the CSS positioning, yet IE shows it how I want it too look. Any Ideas anyone...??

Sorry cant show it at the moment its not currently on line yet..!

Thanks
Phil.

Hi,

Thanks for the responce I know it was a bit stupid to expect anyone to solve the prob without looking at the source. I have uploaded the main page and the CSS file. I hope i've done it correctly, dont know if i should have just pasted it in here..!!

"<link href="file:///C|/RetailOne/web_folder/retailone.css" rel="stylesheet" type="text/css">"

Did you check the source of the file before uploading? The CSS file is pointing to your local hard drive... big boo-boo.

Just try posting your source/css in here.

Dreamweaver wrote that CSS?

Anyway, I don't know what missing division you are referring too. When I look in firefox everything that shows in IE seems to be there although the display is broken to some extent.

Hi Guys,

Sorry for the stupidaty, have reloaded it and it should be ok now. I have tested it on Firefox on my pc Version 5.0 and it is still not showing anything like what it should be or how it shows in IE.

Any ideas on what part or what DIV's are incorrect..?

With thanks

Phil
