I have two questions on css capabilities

FIRST QUESTION
this concerns the http://www.qnctv.com/showsindex.htm page. I wondered if divisions can be made to go down a page so that each coloum can be sorted seperately i.e. movies can be sorted by latest or author where the surfer to my site can select another sort method for gallery. Also as new shows are added of a particular type only that division need be expanded. I need to read more about css but wanted to get an idea of where to head.

SECOND QUESTION.
Is there a css version of mouse over to replace the code used on pages like http://www.qnctv.com/trini/ use view source as it is all in javaScript. the basic idea is that once there are two divisions one a viewing panel the other a list of pictures if you mouse over a thumbnail it automatically appears in the viewing panel (known problems of display in safari with current code)

You want to make an image rollover with CSS? This is completly possible but a bit complicated. If I understand you, you want to make an image rollover? Its not actually all that hard to do.. yet still complicated at the same time. If this is what you want let me know and I do my best to explain how this is done.

Basically you would take the two or three pictures (mouse over, visited, and normal) and make them into one image with space in between and use CSS to direct the button to move down some which will move the hover element down (or up) and no one would be able to tell that there was one image being used.

Hope you can understand that....lol

You want to have the column on the right sorted by date? You will need to use PHP for that I belive, CSS cant sort the content for you.. you could easily but you dont really want to do that. You need a good Content Management System (CMS)

Make sure Im right about what you want to do..
