I tried pretty much everything I know to fix this, but I couldn't do it:
I am trying to replicate the skin on this website:

Note how the background fits perfectly the middle page block. If you zoom out on the browser, you'll see the background still wraps perfectly around the middle block. Also note that the background image, http://www.runescape.com/l=3/img/mai...alloween09.jpg, has a black area in which the block sits.

However, the problem starts here: http://rstb.ipbfree.com/index.php?act=idx The skin is pretty much the same, however, for some reason, the background doesn't wraps like it should. I even tried using the exact same background css from the original website, but using a different location to host the image

background: #000 url(http://i628.photobucket.com/albums/uu7/Tucalipe/bg_halloween09.jpg) no-repeat fixed center top;

but it still gets weird...

Can someone please shed some light on this matter?

Don't think you will get much help as your copying someone else hard work.
Your asking a design to help when one day you may copy his design.

Come up with your own design and am sure you will get help.

I used that as an example, I'm not making a skin like that... I need a background that does that, and I used the same images just for comparison. Also, I wouldn't be able to copy it as all images are copyrighted.

I need a background that wraps around a central table and resizes according to the resolution.

PS.: I don't even play that game... It was the only website I could find that had a background that did that.

Nevermind. I found out I need a background centered and with a empty space to nest the central table the exact same width as the table.
You can close this already.
