my client want me to build a static web site of 8 pages and each page should have a completely different look.

should i make 8 css files or should just include the styles in the existing html page??

i agree with chris... but if you were to ask me to do it I would manage it with 9 css files... 1 for all shared elements... thats my way tho, do whats best for u

I would use ONE css file, but that's MY preference.

Why does your client want a different look for each page ? That will appear so helter-skelter, disjointed. Better to stick with a consistent look and feel for all pages.
