I have some text that I have placed in a div floated left... The text outsite wraps around it.
The problem I'm having is I'm getting this stupid 3 pixel text jog error. I don't want to use any hacks... Is there a way to fix this so that I don't get this error and still have my text wrap around the div?
The problem is at the press release section... I have "click to see a press release..." and the google ad in a div floated left... I mean everything looks good, but I got the three pixel jog error... I wanted to get rid of it while still having my text wrap around the div like it is now.
we are having the same problem, how do you fix the three pixel text jog? email me ASAP, its for my work website. - Tiffany@keiferprofessionalsearch.com

That's what I'm asking... It really doesn't affect my layout at all, but I just hate having errors, period... LadyRed, this would be a goodtime... Anybody?
This thread is becoming more and more bloated and yet no answers... Dreamweaver is not the problem... this bug only affects Internet Explorer... It is not something Dreamweaver causes... Every web designer knows that Internet Explorer is the ****iest browser and most annoying to deal with... Plz anyone-- I need help with this.
Exactly how does this "Three pixel jog" manifest itself?
Because I've just looked at your page in 5 different browsers and I can't see a difference.
they are a few other little idiosyncrasies but nothing that merits any major work.

The h2 & h3 heading format is slightly differently in IE than FF because of the base font-size differences.
Not that it matters in the slightest! the only visitors who will ever view the page on the same machine using the same monitor setup is zero plus you.
Ignore what the DW "validator" is saying. it's merely programmed with a certain set of conditions which may or may not be of any consequence at all.

If you have a version of IE6 and you have installed the patches over the last couple of years, this bug should no longer be an issue as the patches/updates actually fixed IE6's box model. I wouldn't even worry about older versions of IE,which still have this bug.

Ok then.
Obviously not something that has ever concerned me enough to bother looking it up before then
