Good morning everyone. Hope you are all having a great weekend.

I'm working on this site, and wanted to modify it so that the navigation bar got taller if someone modified the font size in firefox. http://www.lauralewismantellmd.com/indexd.html

So, I tried inserting the min-height element in #nav, and it doesn't seem to be adjusting. If you increase the font-size in FF, it wraps the text onto the next line, but the background color doesn't go with it. Any thoughts on the best way to make this happen? TIA!

You're getting some very weird behavior there. On the About menu, I get a horizontal scroll bar when you hover... I've never seen that before.

You'll have to put the min-height on the <a> most likely - -but you do know that IE6 and below doesn't support min/max width or height, right ?

Also, your dropdown menu us falling behind the flash -- you need to set the flash to wmode transparent to fix that.

Wow - that was a little scary - turns out, I had added a overflow: auto to the nav field (in an attempt to "fix" the fact that the background wouldn't extend), and that was what was doing all the weird scroll bar/flash issues. Because the flash issue had already been fixed... panic over...

I'm going to try your other suggestions. Will get back to you. (Didn't get back sooner as I am in a conference today and tomorrow - at the Event Apart thing here in Boston... )
