Hi all -

I am working on this site: http://www.lauralewismantellmd.com/indexb.html

There is supposed to be a drop down off lifestyle>nutrition> so a third level drop down, but I can't seem to get it to work. Any thoughts? TIA!

I'd try validating your CSS first http://jigsaw.w3.org/css-validator/v...ning=1&lang=en

Most of that is the validator griping over bg/fg colors, which are not critical in the least.

The font family warning should be fixed.. times new roman or any font family with spaces should be enclosed in quotes. I also notice you've got "veranda' where I suspect you meant "verdana".

I'll have to d/l the page and dig into it, see what's going on with the menu.

Ok, got it
Your 3rd level menu was actually working.. you just couldn't see it !
The problem is this:
Quote:
#nav li:hover ul ul, #nav li:hover ul ul ul, #nav li.sfhover ul ul, #nav li.sfhover ul ul ul {
left: -999em;
}
If you change that to left: 18px (or an em unit), you'll see your 3rd level menu near where it should be.

Good job. I don't think I'll ever have to work again... I'll just kick back with my feet up and post all of my problems here from now on....

Kidding...

Wayfarer, I prefer to help those who have at least TRIED to help themselves, and I know Jess works pretty hard before she asks for help . I have little patience for those who won't even try and just want someone to do it for them - you learn nothing that way.

I had been refering to the three CSS errors, in particular: Parse Error a: {text-decoration: none; padding-bottom: 5px; text-align: center; } which is the line with #nav li a and I was guessing that was causing the issue.

Thanks all - sorry it took me a bit to get back to this - I've been a bit swamped. We're moving in three days! I really appreciate the help!!
