I've been trying to figure this out for a while now, and just can't, so I'd like some help. first off, I was following this tutorial on how to achieve the effect used on this website which you can see when you rollover the thumbnails. it has a hover box with the post title and post ratings in it. that is exactly what I'm trying to achieve for the thumbnails on my site.

my problem is that I don't know where to place the div class tags in my index.php file so that they only target the thumbnails. I'm not sure if I need to wrap the loop or something else with the divs for this effect.

I know it is kinda asking a lot if you haven't already achieved this before, so I don't expect someone here to go through all the trouble of looking at the tutorial and the code on my site to figure this out for me. So, I'll keep trying to figure it out, but I'm hoping someone might be kind enough to aid me in this. Thanks!!

it looks like it is very similar to the whatever:hover I am trying to use. but I think whether I use that or the others, I still don't know where to place the divs among the php in my index file. it would be very simple to use this effect if I was using it on an image or block of text that I created in a page, but since I need it to be placed on every post, I can't go an insert it separately each time I write a post. so I don't know how to make it work with the post php. I dunno if that makes sense.. lol.
