I have created a website http://coolingtheglobe.org as my hobby site.

In this I want to keep a open forum where
1. people can login and using their nickname ,
2. They can give a comment/message which will be displated immediately after submit button pressed.
3. User should be able to edit his comment.

This "add a comment" needed to be placed below all the articles which I publish. When the user adds a comment, it should immediately get displayed on the same page.

This I want to implement to make my website more interactive.

I think I have conveyed my requirement.
Please help me out to get this solved.

It requires server side code and a database of some kind.

phpbb.com (thats a good place to start)- you need a php drivn bulleten board. This is a free opensource one - you will need a hosting service that supports php and mySQL.

vBulletin - if you look at one of your links - Cooling the Globe forum - you will see that he is using VBulletin. Have a look right at the bottom of some of the forums there and you should get an idea of what they are using.

I am currently using DisQus, which I found through a keyword search for "threaded comments", on my own blog.
