What I want to do is have a transparent flash file that overlays on top of an entire page. I dont even know where to start to do that.

Why would you want to do this? also if it overlays over the whole site then nothing on the site will work except for the flash.

The reason I would want to do that is to have a flash splash page that is transparent so it would show the site once it is done instead of creating a splash page that redirects, thought it would make it easier. But if the site wont work under it then there is no point. Thanks for the reply though...
