Hello to all,

So quick question. If I make a css drop menu in firefox and dreamweaver, does this goes againt seo and spider indexing?

I read that this type of drop downs might cause spiders to considered it spam because of some sort of hidden tag.

I just wanted to make sure first.

Thanks

No they won't consider it spam.

Ok so if I was to use it as a behavior in fireworks, it will cause problems?

I just learned to make a css pop up on fireworks for a drop down menu, but i am concerned if it is just better to use spry framework or make the css boxes in fireworks to send to dreamweaver?

I am not a good coder so I have to use something. I just do not want to cause any problems with search engines

all the advice on the adobe fireworks forum is definitely NOT to use the FW generated pop-up menus but to make your own using something like http://www.projectseven.com/tutorial...hide/index.htm or another accessible dropdown/flyout/whatever menu or then look at buying one if the coding is beyond you or you want to save time

i've been using the pop menu magic on a couple of sites and just tweaking the css to my own tastes to change the look and colours of the thing
