and if you are wondering how CPM equates to Cost Per Thousand, it comes from Cost Per Mille.

Mille being Latin for Thousand (as in Millenium meaning One Thousand Years)

it is cost per thousand impression... you need to pay fpr certainamount of views of your site but the success may depends on the placement of your site..

CPM is the cost of impressions. E 'to say, x number per 1000 impressions. Impressions are the number of times an ad is displayed on your site.

CPM lead is an commercial company where you can add surveys to your site. The payout is high, but I must warn you, all of surveys are SCAMS. In case you add them to your site, i reccomend making optioanal, mandatory ought to be your last resort.

As Chris suggesting CPM is known as the Cpst per thousand impressions which is a advertising model on which your ads get charged by the advertising company. if your ads received the 1000 impressions then you charged by the advertiser, Similarly there are some mode advertising chaged model which is used into the Search engine Marketing like PPC, CPA and CPL.

CPM (Cost Per Mille) or CPT (Cost Per Thousand Impressions) is when advertisers pay for exposure of their message to a specific audience. "Per mille" means per thousand impressions, or loads of an advertisement. However, some impressions may not be counted, such as a reload or internal user action.
