What can you say about BurstMedia payouts? I've been turned down from Casale and applications are still pending for valueclick and tribalfusion - is Burst good enough for first-tier ad network?

As a side note, what would you recommend as network with almost 100% fill rate while having at least decent CPM?

On VCM You need a lot of impressions to get a decent paycheck.

I have a site that gets over 70,000 page views a day with 5-10,000 uniques.

I only make about $325 a month using VCM alone, so I'm looking for other outlets.

Trying to start selling ads inhouse, but I do not know how it will work.

When I used Burst a long time ago they had good rates but low inventory fill, I've heard it's still the same. They're hard to get into though, I got kicked out when my contract expired, Internet ads were in a big low at the time.

Burst won't allow me in their program because I have pictures of girls in bikinis in my Mustang Gallery.

Well, I *was* allowed, and I'm not impressed --- their CPMs are high but low inventory fill and tight geotargeting makes its eCPM somewhere a bit lower than one buck.

Now I'm pondering whether to take up side ad network, or sign exclusive contract with Burst (it'll raise share from 50% to 70%).

I wouldn't sign any exclusive contract with Burst, or any other ad network.

Burst has always been good to me in the past. I always used them behind Tribal Fusion, until football season arrived, then I would move them to the front as they were great with getting me high paying targeted ads. Unfortunately, the major advertiser that targeted my site through Burst no longer displays their ads to the United States due to the gambling laws, so they will most likely remain a 2nd tier ad network for me now.

hmm...how the hell did you get to run TribalFusion (or any 1st tier network for that matter) on a forum?

He has a content site. If you have a content site they are more likely to accept you and allow you to run their ads on your forum as well.

So do I

Never heard of anyone being allowed to run the ads on a forum. The content site fine, but not the forum part.

TribalFusion won't accept any of my websites though, the only one in the right niche for them has way too much international traffic.

I thought I was doing bad with them. You are earning around $0.15CPM from VCM then. I am earning slightly more than that from them. I found that their earnings CPM declined steadily once they changed the name to VCM from FC.
