Pop up ads Vs Bounce Rate

Hello, I have seen some pop up ads topics , so I figured I would ask,

What does everyone think (opinion)

I have a website and my bounce rate isnt that bad, But do you think that I would have a less of a bounce rate if I removed my pop-ups

I mean pop-ups are like on soooooo many sites these days, and they pay quite well with valueclick,

But my question is do you think I would get more people to hang around or check out the site more, if I removed the pop-ups,

Do people still freak out about these things when they come to sites?

I would like to hear what you all think

I think it would matter on what type of site it is. Hehe, obviously for adult sites, no one ever cares :P . Arcade sites, I also don't think people will care that much? Not sure.

Yea, would definitely depend on the website. If there are any websites similar to yours, check them out and see if they have pop ups and if they have many visitors.

If you have a large relative amount of repeat visitors, I think you should consider removing the popups. I base this on how I usually surf (I don't claim this to be true for all). Popups get's *really* annoying if I go to a certain website often. If it's a website I only visit once, I don't care.

Well i hate those webs which contains pop up ads :angry:
