Cost Per Impression (CPM i believe :/)

I was wondering if anyone knew of any good, reliable, safe Cost Per Impression programs, where i display ads and get paid, rather than the other way round not wanting to advertise yet ?

thanks in advanced

CPI is different than CPM?

CPM = Cost Per 1,000 impressions.

I just signed up as a provider for a range of .25 - .70 cents per 1,000.

Adbrite is good if you have pretty strong site. Otherwise, you'll not get any "network ads" from them even your site has been approved. There is still chance that someone find your site on adbrite marketplace and wish to advertise exactly on your site. That is, btw. basic idea of adbrite.

CPM is yet to find its second life start. CPA is hot these days, frankly stop wasting your time and signup for some good CPA network account.

azoogle tops the ranks

I do fine with cpm ads. Just part of the mixture of the rotation along with adsense, CPA, ads sold on my site, and the occasional adsense ad.

ads that I sell on my site get first priority of course.

Mike, you nailed it on the head. The best way to approach revenue building on your site is to diversify with different revenue streams. Ken Giddens used to talked about how some of his sites had 11 different streams of revenue.

So, if one is not working very well (CPI), you got 10 other streams to hold you up.
