Hi,

I've just received a mail from vendor telling me there are 3 advertisers requested me to remove their campaign as my leads do not convert.

:|

I'm running incentive site and members get paid for survey, register, signups stuff.

I mean how could I control them and make a better conversion?

The members fill the surveys and get freebies, shouldn't this the way it works?

I would like to hear some advice from you all, thanks.

Jiajilah, we meet again

Unfortunately that's just how it goes sometimes. As I said in your other thread, incentivised traffic is different than non. Since the user is being rewarded with completing an offer they are more likely to do so. Unfortunately this also means they have a higher probability of not converting, as alot of them are simply completing the offer in the first place to receive their reward. This is why lots of advertisers will payout less for incentivised traffic or simply not accept it at all.

Now with that being said, it doesn't mean you are doing anything wrong. You will encounter the same problem and non-incentivised sites.. some offers just won't work well for you. Switch it up try some other offers till you find one that converts well for you. Once you find the best programs for your site you'll start rolling in the $$

Hi jprgm,
I'm using MaxB and Azoo.

Hi xbo,
I'm paypal for payment. The members are coming from all around the world but mainly US.

Hi Pyton,
Thanks again for your reply. You are really helpful.

And I must thank JP for his quite response and showing me 1 of the most important post i should never miss.
In fact, i think everyone should have a look and take precaution on this issue.

Hi JP,
I'm thinking of an additional steps of verification where I manually verify all creditcard transaction with advertisers through email.
Will this works?
And if the contact person is MaxB(without any advertiser contact), can my affiliate manager help me to verify with the advertisers?

Once every lead showed for creditcard transaction, I shall verify the name and the contact, i believe this can help us to prevent such credit fault case to happen.

What do you think?

No, you don't want to to verify every lead/sale, that would be too much for the merchant. But when you find a questionable member to your incentive site, you can ask the merchant about their leads/sales.

Keep in mind however that if it's a sale, it'll look good to the merchant UNTIL the card is reported as compromised.

Hi JP,

As a precaution steps I would double verify those credit card signup are from US.
With the PayPal + 1 month payment, i hope these will help.

Credit card fraud is really a problem for every party, let's do our best to stop them...

If anyone has any idea, please share with me, THANKS!

Yes tons of people use CC Fruads with these type of sites, which is a bad lead, can't really prevent it either...
