Can we use affiliate URL directly in AdWords? So that we don't have to provide our own website for an Adwords campaign.

Read the Google TOS.

The landing page URL must match the display domain. Depending on what program you are promoting it could looks quite messy.

In addition to the display URL item, Google will rotate ads that point to the same domain.

Your best option is to create your own landing page.

So then, is it possible for an affiliate campaign to avoid competing with other campaigns of the same affiliate (same landing domain) by targetting less competitive keywords? Has anyone try?

I don't know about that one. Not worth the risk. you are better off with your own domain.

your best just using your own domain then you ahve no worries domains are cheap
