How can I monitor the effectiveness for Clickbank

Hi,

first of all, sorry, I'm new to this, this is gonna be my first adwords campain.

I want my visitors to buy my promoted clickbank products. I see that I can monitor how good my CTR for different keywords is, but how am I monitor which customers in the end bought the product and what keywords made them buy.

Is it possible to do that with Google Analytics? But I don't see how.

You can track how many people click on a CB link from your landing page by using a re-direct page with tracking.

Unless you can convince the author to create a custom sales letter with a custom landing page for you there is no way to tell what keyword phrase converted.

With some CPA programs that I use they have a sub-affiliate id that can be used for tracking. Google AdSense calls this a Chanel.

My guess (and a guess it is) is that CB will add an additional level for affiliates to track conversions. Seems to be they are trying to make things easier for everyone lately.

I'm pretty sure sub-affiliate IDs and AdSense Channels are something very much different.

A custom landing page is not needed. All the owner of the clickbank site needs to do is place your google tracking code on their thank you page. With multiple webmasters some code might be needed to display the right google tracking code on the thank you page. But regardless, I do this for webmasters who promote my sites.

If the owner places your google tracking code on their thank you page you can see which keywords convert and then get your ROI, fine tune your campaign and spend less to make more.

True, but in my experience I have found few that will do anything to their download page for my tracking. Google, Pixel, code, etc.
