The first offer I ever used with Azoogle was one where users could get a Free PSP, and I got paid for each e-mail entry.
I had no site suitable for advertising this offer so I went over the official Playstation forums and signed up. I placed a link in my signature, which went directly to the offer I'd selected, and in huge text it read "Free PSP". I didn't spam the link in posts, or threads - I simply replied to already populated threads, and started a few new topics about upcoming games. Within the first hour I'd made $20 USD - not too bad considering the offer paid $1.80 per conversion.
I decided to expand this.
I went over to GameSpot.com and started doing the same thing, but this time used a Free Nintendo DS offer. Most would go directly to the Nintendo DS Forum on GameSpot, but I thought, why would people who don't own a DS be talking in the DS section of the site? I started posting replies and threads in the GameCube and GameBoy Advance forums and started noticing some leads.
By the end of the day I had a extra wad of cash (can't remember exactly) - I like to think of it like this: if I'd worked at Maccas, it would've taken me 3 times as longer to get that first $20, so it was worth it!
How to expand this?
Best thing to do is get 5-10 friends all using a particular link and start getting a group effort going. Go to 10-20 forums and start posting 10-20 topics/replies a day with the link in your signatures. Share the profits evenly and use sub-ids to track which forums are converting best and adjust your posting frequency to that.
