How to Find Good Offers
By David Turnbull
Choosing the right offers that will convert.
1. The eCPC
The estimated cost per click is determined by the number of clicks you receive, the percent of people you convert, and the amount of revenue you gain from this. The higher the eCPC the better, as that means each click you get is worth more.
People fall into the trap by looking for the highest paying offers - the problem with these is that they are harder to convert. They may require credit card validation, for the user to spend some money, or just a generally long and irritating sign up process.
The best way to make money is too look for offers with a good eCPC, this may require some, or a lot of experimentation but it's worth it in the end!
2. People are Lazy
I like to think of the world as lazy when looking for good offers. I know a full page registration form usually makes me leave a particular site - that is why you must choose offers that people won't fall asleep in the middle of completion. I like to choose offers where I get paid for:
- Entry of an E-Mail
- Entry of a Zip Code
- Completion of a Short Form
The less work that is involved, the more likely you'll convert - the downside is that the
easier offers are generally lower paying.
3. Free!
Labelling things as free always attracts users. Azoogle has a full section for Free Stuff, Contests and Sweepstakes, so use it! Find a product, or giveaway that you have interest in so you can properly promote it. Talk about the product, review it, praise it! Tell your visitors why they
need this product.
4. Exclusivity
Azoogle Ads has a range of exclusive (their network only) offers. This means that these offers will be less advertised (or saturated) so it might be a good idea to look at these before others. It's always best to offer users something relatively unique. If the user doesn't have it then there is a chance that the user might want it!
