I have been with them for just under a year and have only made a couple of hundred dollars or so.
I'm trialing pepperjam at the moment.

Hello, I never liked CJ . Interface is not so friendly. In many cases, when you apply for specific affiliate program, they denny you automatically. You do not know even way.Sometimes, even affiliate managers at some companies are suprised that you have been denied by CJ. They wanted me, without CJ. But, there are other affiliate networks like LinkShare or FlexOffers.

Commission Junction allows companies not to pay affiliates and get away with it. It happened with me personally. I am still mad but somehow kept my mouth shot. I guess, I am waiting to cool down a bit and then I will write about it on my blog.

The other day I received a message from LinkShare about a similar case. But LinkShare decided to get rid of the company that skipped paying commission. I was glad to hear that.

The Google Affiliate Network seems to have some very big and well-known retailers (Barnes & Nobles, Target, Kmart, Sears, etc), along with some advertisers in my particular niche. So, even though the payout rates for most of these guys are mediocre, at least there's some name recognition with web surfers. Hopefully that translates to better conversions.

I'm going to stick with the GAN for a while and see where it leads me...

i'm earning with CJ. the only thing that you need to do is to select a reputable company/product to promote from CJ. and work to get your pages visible to searches

So my questions are, have any of you had experience with this service? How well has it performed for you? I'm guessing the reason I cant find anything on it here is because theres something better you all use instead?
Really? You searched? because there was another thread just like this one whining about not making money from the service. here it is: http://tycoontalk.freelancer.com/aff...m-is-fake.html

IME, I've never had any issues with cj.com, always get reasonable conversions and get paid automatically, which means no witheld payments or anything.

I think you need to do a conversion diagnosis, are you getting the right traffic, are you pushing the correct offers, and are you promoting offers that have a good landing page etc.

I once had a video of mine go viral, and I got around 300 direct hits to my website from it. Guess what? I barely made any money from it because the traffic was general and untargeted. Later on it started to rank well in google and received some good relevant traffic, and I am converting the traffic very well.

You shouldn't blame cj for mistakes you may be making.

I used CJ, Google Affiliate Network, Linkshare. CJ has more merchants than the other two. CJ also has the biggest merchants like Dell, Sony, Best Buy, etc...
If you want to make some money with affiliate links, I would suggest that you sign up with all three mentioned above.
