I am just starting to get into CPA. I have a good niche with the #1 spot on Google and MSN. I may only get 50 hits a day, but it's very targeted traffic looking for the product I am listed for.

I have an account with CJ and I found plenty of Affiliates. I am starting to look into landing pages, creating a mailing list and incentives to get the users to sign up.

Since I have never done this, I wanted to get some feedback about creating an incentive for sign ups. I plan on offering a nice price every time I get 5 paid sign ups through the affiliates. Is this possible? I am not sure how I will track the sign ups to the actual client. What is the easiest way to do this?

Also, since the affiliates have to approve my program, what advice do you have for giving them a successful sales pitch on my incentive idea?

Thanks!

the best is crating unique ids for each user and attaching them to end. azoogle and maxbounty allow this.

Best incentives is CASH... but as u can see from all the ipod sites... they are good also

You need to have your website up before applying for your affiliates. If you're looking to offer incentives, I would recommend you to sign-up with CPAEmpire. CJ isn't incentive-friendly,doesn't have good tracking, and has low payouts also. I'm not sure about other affiliate networks, because CPAEmpire is the only one I've used right now. CPAEmpire has a good tracking system, and it'll have instructions on how you can track your leads/sales. You can ask your affiliate manager if you need help on that.

You don't have to have a website to promote affiliates.... you just have to inform them of how you plan to promote, adwords etc.. email etc...

Well, I took my existing website and threw up some affiliate banners just to see if I could get any click throughs. Now, I want to revamp it and turn it into a landing page. I know my target market fairly well and think the prizes I plan on offering will be a good incentive. I just don't know how to link the sale to the buyer.

Any other advice would be appreciated.

Thanks!

How can I do this when CJ is handling everything once I had the customer off? Sure, I can match an SID to an email, but am I am able to see any details on the customer once they actually pay? I can't imagine CJ letting me see that.

This may seem very obvious, but do note that that you should make sure you only Incentivize offers that are clearly marked as being okay for Incentive traffic. If you Incentivize an offer that is not allowed to be, you can get kicked off the network. Your affilaite manager should be able to advise you on this, or it is often indicated.

Thanks CO.

I actually have to get approval from each advertiser based on the details of my incentive.
