I get about 3000 Uniques visitors a day but only get 20 or 30 cents a day from google are there and other programs or things I can add to make more money

Depends who your visitors are and what they are after. You shoud consider some affiliate program for example.
For me I do not understand why somebody searching some product or service in google should click to your site link to click on google ad there.

I think ad placement is very important. CPM is worth a consideration also.

And yes, look at other way to earn cold hard cash. Adsense is not the only cash cow out there.

Do this and I guarantee your CTR will shoot up.. please post back with updates to let us know how it did..

1. In the top brownish bar where it says 'Recent Bookmarks' but an adlinks unit

2. Put a Large Rectangle ad under the recent tags box

3. Put a half banner after the 2nd bookmark posted (may require programming knowledge)

4. Move the top leaderboard ad under the search box

5. Get rid of the bottom leaderboard (you can only have 3 adsense ads, and my suggestions use up all three, plus, the bottom like that is a horrible place for an ad

Thanks brizzad I'll give these a try this week I am getting ready to move to a new host as site seems slow to me. trying to learn php so I can add some improvements to this program like voting/ranking and a spam filter system this site is growing fast Google is starting to get better with the clicks and paying 10 to 20 cent average vs 3 cents before now making a buck or three a day

You need to blend the ads better. Not crazy about the overall layout of the site either.

I have the same problem too. averaging 3000-4000 unique hits. with 10 clicks per day.

what I find is that the CPM really depends on how long the viewers stay on your site. (target audience)

we're averaging 45 seconds per visit. so it ranges to 25cents-30cents
when we were averaging 2 minutes per visit. it was about a dollar something

OP - you could also trying fixing your site so it is not broken in firefox
