How long for YPN?

I applied to YPN about 5 or 6 days ago and have not heard back from them yet. I was wondering if it normally took this long for them to approve or deny you? I was expecting an email back in a day or 2 since that's how it was with adsense.

YPN is in beta currently, meaning that you might not even get accepted!

Right, I know; I just meant how long does it normally take for them to accept or reject you after you apply?

It took them several months to accept me.

Took about 3 months to receive the approval for my site.

I guess they just want to monitor a site for long period before they can get you approved or not.....some sites just not happen to work anymore after couple months

I was accepted within just a few days, however I've seen it take months before someone is accepted. If I was you I wouldn't wait around for YPN, apply and apply for other programs and use them until you do hear back from YPN!

What kinds of programs do you think are the best to apply for until then? I already have adsense on my forum.

I have tried many other contextual ad programs, but none of them come close to AdSense or YPN for revenue. I've heard good things about Chitika, but it seems to work mostly for sites that have a product focus.

Well I didn't get accepted, "apply again when our program is open to the public"

It took me about a week or two, but it was about a year ago.

I love YPN and have been making some good money with them ever since I joined them. Much better that I would ever make with Adsense.

Right now it's very hard to be admitted from what I have heard. Keep trying though...

I just applied recently. It took 5 weeks just to get an email saying that they might accept me when they come out of beta.
