I'm not sure how contextual Amazon really is. When I see their ads it shows me the same stuff that I looked at the last time I visited Amazon. If it's not using the page content, then how can it be called contextual? Has anyone disputed this with Google so that they could use both it and adsense?

I don't think it even lookes at the content but is based on the category/keywords selected, unless it's changed since I last got the code.

that would make sense since Amazon keeps track of what items you looked at on their site

although I'm not sure how much weight this would have against Google's TOS
