Yes that is true.

Use GeoIP targetting to serve adsense or other ads to non-US users.

Pretty much. That's why their program is only open to US publishers right now.

They may pay you for international clicks but it's against their Terms and Conditions to display them to international users anyway:

- Abuse of Services. You agree not to:
display all or part of the Ad Unit to any user located outside the US;

Hehe, so basically people who are using YPN and have international traffic that surely clicks on ads from time to time are violating these terms?

Are you saying ProBlogger.net and ShoeMoney.com don't have international traffic, therefore they can show YPN ads? or do they have international traffic and violate it? i think it's neither .

I'm not trying to say anything - just pasting what's in the Terms

I've seen a few cases on WW and other various webmaster forums where publishers get their account suspended for getting too much international traffic.

I was only giving these two links as an absurd-examples, obviously Darren Rowse and Schoemaker aren't violating any terms.

So do they pay for international clicks? You said they do - can you give me some links to look at?

As far as I know, YPN does pay for international clicks at first, but earnings are adjusted accordingly. Usually ads don't show to international users.

They do accept non-US clicks, they just don't like it too much. They do NOT accept non-US publishers though. They are expected to go international and out of beta by 2007.

If you get a lot of international traffic I would be concerned that you may not get paid as much as you could.

Based on their policies and things I've read around the blogosphere I removed YPN from my sites, at least for now.
