Well, this is either my first or 2nd post. I watched a referenced video on this forum. Sorry, I don't remember which one. It talked about blending ads and placing them in the right places.

Well over 4 days, my CTR has jumped by 1% point. I know it's not a lot but hey, it's a full point.

1 full percent improvement is actually quite nice. I'm struggling to get my click-thru UP TO one percent.

If you could find that video (or give me something to search for) I'd much appreciate it.

Since it's been covered in other threads within this forum I won't run long, but using 728 banners or the 336 x 250 box ads works best by far. We've recently implemented them into various pages of ours and in some cases our CTR is as high as 20% - 30% at the end of the day. As of right now it's sitting at around 60% for one channel in particular.

Since I started this thread, I thought I would post an update. I have continued to tweak certain pages for best CTR. Some pages went from an avg of 3% to over 6%. The biggest jump was from 0.75% to 6.2%.

Now there is some bad news. I added adlinks to a couple of pages in additition to the leaderboard style ads. Even though the clicks have increased, my income has actually fallen slightly.

I think the smart pricing might be kicking in. So the next test is to remove the extra ads on some pages and see what happens to the earnings. I am hoping the CPC climbs slightly.
